April 2024 Chapter Closer EVENT: "Kroatoan” - Ticket

This ticket covers your admittance to our April Closer Event "Kroatoan" - This event starts on April 12th Friday at 8pm until April 12th at 12 PM noon Sunday. This event is a multiple day contact safe LARP based on the world of Dystopia Rising.

The base XP for a Live event is 3 for locals (and Adv. Membership Travelers). If you are a traveler with out an Adv. Membership, it is 2. The cap on purchasable XP (at $15 each) is 2. This is a separate item that needs to be purchased.

If you plan on attending, please RSVP to the event when we put it up. It is very important that you do so, as we need to plan in advance logistics in handling the overall attendance of the game. If you do not RSVP for the event early on, it will affect our ability to make the game the very best it can be for your overall experience.

We will be offering a food plan - $35 (Or free for travelers). Our Chapter offers a free pancake breakfast on Sunday morning(Potato Pancakes available too). Paco Specials are off the menu until we are back up to running speed.

Buildings and Tents
Buildings are off limits for sleeping due to a county restriction. Due to this recommend people double check if their sleeping arrangements have been affected by this. The projected weather for the area is between 60F and 47°F at night (+/- 5°F) with 60% chance of rain so please plan accordingly.

COVID-19

We will be following CDC and California guidelines regarding COVID-19, and we will update this if anything has to change before the first live game. Our current policy will be as follows...

1. Participants must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (received all primary doses at least 2 weeks prior) and up-to-date (received all boosters for which they are eligible) in order to attend our events. Individuals who are Fully Vaccinated but are not Up-to-Date (have received all primary doses but have not received all boosters for which they are eligible) may attend if they provide proof of a negative Covid test collected no more than 48 hours before the event. You can show proof of your vaccination by emailing it to us at rick.dystopiarisingsocal@gmail.com. Gate access will be limited to those who have submitted proof of vaccination. Unfortunately, due to the continued threat of the virus and the Omicron variant, we will not be able to offer any exception to this.

2. We still require that you wear your mask indoors where we elbow up (like in logi/post office or ops/NPCland) but they won’t be required outdoors or in open-air spaces. If you would like the extra protection feel free to wear one or integrate it into your costume.

3. Social distancing is not required for fully vaccinated individuals per CDC guidelines and current State data.

4. If you feel sick or have a fever, we ask that you do not come to game. We will give you a full refund if you have already purchased the game and got sick right before (you can keep the XP). If you start to feel sick or get a fever at game, we ask that you quarantine from other players and head home for some rest to recover.

Ticket Type Cost Casting Time (NPC) Notes
Casting Opt-out $110 0 Hours Limited number of tickets because the event needs a certain number of Casting Shifts to ensure the quality of the game experience.
Minimum Casting $95 2 Hours Limited number of tickets because the event needs a certain number of Casting Shifts to ensure the quality of the game experience.
Standard Casting $75 4 Hours Unlimited number of tickets as long as space allows.
Maximum Casting $45 6 Hours This is the second lowest cost ticket for an event, it provides access to the full event, and is available in a limited quantity.
10 Hour Play $45 2 Hours before or after 10 hours of play Allows attendance from the time the player does check-in until 10 hours pass. 10 hour passes only get 1 experience point for 1 character and must be off site after the 10 hours of play and 2 hour casting shift.
New Player $0 4 Hours For players that are new to Dystopia Rising to try their first game in SoCal at Minimal cost. This is the same as a Standard Casting ticket other wise.
Casting only
(No Purchase Necessary for this event)		 $0 Variable Hours Attending to only play casted characters(NPCs) normally costs nothing however certain events with limited space or sites that charge per attendee may have a cost. if a player does a total of 12 hours of Casting(NPC/guide) time they will receive full Experience for one character.
Non-Attendance $75 0 Hours These tickets can be purchased by people who want the growth of an event without being able to attend. These can only be purchased for home events after your first attended event.
