INTRODUCTION

What follows is an overview of the local setting and story of DR: SoCal, beginning with the “time skip” and transition into DR: Evolved. It is somewhat lengthy, and yet, it merely scratches the surface of El Dorado’s past and present. All information presented is supplemental to the core LARP rulebook.

Everything in this section is public and general knowledge in-game. Keeping this information up-to-date is a huge undertaking, so your best source of information (and, fair warning, misinformation!) is to ask around in-game. Whether you are a New Player wanting to know more about the world around you, a Traveler comparing notes between settlements, or a longtime Local Player who would like a refresher, we hope there is something here that will catch your interest, and that you would like to engage with further.
